Pros

I can't find a single positive thing to say about Cerner products or the company. It feels like many reviewers lack firsthand experience with the product. It's frustrating that comments from clerks hold the same weight as those from licensed providers responsible for documentation and orders.

Cons

Everything about it is frustrating: the useless power chart templates, interoperability issues with labs, unclear workflows, and outdated features. It's far behind cheaper alternatives, with ongoing issues like incorrect ICD 10 codes and orders falling off after a year.

Pros

We recently made a shift to Cerner from a ‘specialty’ dermatology EMR – and it’s turned out to be a good decision. Less headache overall; superb user experience. My advice to clinics: stop wasting time with cheap medical software and just get this (covers everything you want to be streamlined in your workflow).

Cons

It is expensive! But worth it if you can afford it – trust me. Get Software Finder’s helpline reps to offer you a custom deal.

Pros

Over a 15 years’ (and counting) stint as a family GP, I’ve pretty much tried all the EHR options on the market; with Cerner being my top choice. It covers all my daily clinical workflow bases and more; allowing me to focus more on my patients than struggling to work with the software. Definitely recommended if you want an all-purpose medical software solution for your setting.

Cons

The system can be horridly expensive – especially with more advanced integrations – for practices on a budget. So, be prepared to dole out the currency!
