Eyefinity provides fantastic features that allow for increased speed and efficiency. The documentation is pretty neat, which gives us an advantage when dealing with a third party. With built-in templates and tools, it has made assessing patients a breeze, and I enjoy completing routine exams graphically, which can then be swiftly translated into a paper. Because I dont have to ask about any previous meds theyve taken, any new patient who comes in can have a great experience here. I simply call the pharmacy and request a prescription history, which saves time and increases accuracy. Overall it has made my life easy.
Cons
Some UI aspects require enhancement, including documentation for newer technology such as OCT angiography and digital color vision exams. I would like to see a little more automation in patient data entering. As such these are only surface level suggestions that I would like to see being paid attention to, otherwise I dont have any hard complaints since it is a pretty complete package for me. Sometimes there are some technical issues connecting to the system, and sometimes the whole system is down due to some error and they do not inform you beforehand so it can be a little tricky to get around this issue.

Eyefinity has excellent features that enable greater speed and efficiency. The documentation is highly professional, which gives us an advanced outlook when we have to interact with the third party. It has made examining patients very easy with built-in templates and tools, and I love conducting routine exams visually, which can then be translated into a document quickly. Any new patient who comes in can have an amazing experience here because I dont have to ask them about any previous medications theyve taken.I just reach out to the pharmacy and ask for a prescription history, which saves time and improves accuracy.
Cons
Some of the UI elements need improvement, which also includes documents for modern technologies like OCT angiography and digital color vision tests. When it comes to patient data entry, I would like to see a little more automation.

Eyefinity is a great EHR system, but what makes it the best is its customer service and support. They are so dedicated to providing us the best possible solutions in the least amount of time. Im always updated on how my ticket is being handled and when itll be resolved (which usually takes a few hours). The UI is definitely better than our previous EHR system, and notes are grouped in an easy-to-review format. One thing that most other EHRs lack is a dedicated phone app, and most of them just rely on cloud-based access, which is not ideal. Eyefinity has an iPad kiosk function that is fantastic.
Cons
The system is prone to random crashes and bugs, so I have to reach out to the software support every other month. Thats actually where I noticed the quick response and efficiency of the team. Id like to have more control over software settings. And there are better ways to handle charting; Eyefinity makes it way too complicated for a newbie. When there are too many tabs for their server to handle, the software slows down. I wish there was an on-site version available as well.

Remembering where the pharmacy and PCP tab is a recurring issue for me. It would be helpful if those were more accessible since they're frequently used.

It is convenient to use and really easy to enter data into the software as it is really user-friendly and it also has amazing customer support.
Cons
It has some glitches but due to good teamwork, they usually solve the issues within no time.

It's been effortless to grasp and use everything here. I love the simplicity combined with the ability to easily update patient charts. Its seamless integration with EPM is a huge plus.
Cons
There wasn't much I disliked about this software but ultimately we switched to Revolution.

Cons
I wish there were somethings in the software that I could customize for my needs! Hope to see this being a possibility with future updates.

Pros
Electronic prescriptions and referral letters are super easy, and they save a lot of time. They are always improving the product based on user feedback which is something that I really like about it. They keep on adding new features to the system on a regular basis which makes workflow smooth and efficient.
Cons
I would’ve liked it more if there was only one program that did all the work.

I can't fault anything here. Recommending it to competitors might slow them down; it's that efficient.
Cons
There's a lot that's frustrating here. Navigating through multiple screens is cumbersome especially when inputting data for glaucoma or medical patients. It's added significant time per patient.

Loading pages take more than 20 seconds each time, so when we click save to go to the next page the same thing happens and it is very frustrating for us.

Communication is great with the help of this software. It is easy and much more effective as it helps forward notes and referrals to other offices. It is much better than faxing paperwork. Great tool.
Cons
The adding modifier to contact lens fitting codes is a very long process, takes a lot of time. And during pt exams, error messages keep popping on the screen.

This EHR has a ton of incredible features and the client assistance and backing are extraordinary. Certainly, the preferred interface over our old EHR framework and notes are sorted out such that it is anything but difficult to audit.
Cons
Learning the tool and navigating through is difficult in the beginning when you’re new to using this tool. After using it a couple of times it gets better.

Cons
It is difficult to explore. It nearly feels that the product is still being developed. Somethings work extraordinary and others not really. There are numerous steps and clicks to get what exactly should be easy to do.

Protocols here really amp up speed and efficiency especially for our medical practice. The documentation levels are impressive making routine eye exams swift and smart fields are a standout feature. Importing prescription meds directly from the patient's pharmacy is a massive time-saver.
Cons
Documentation for newer technologies needs improvement for better customization. Prescription medication dosages should be better customized per user for automated data filling.
