Eddy is efficient and accomplishes essential tasks at a lower cost compared to other systems.

Cons

The reporting can be challenging and doesn't always deliver the data we want in the desired format. It also doesn't handle rehires effectively, as it overwrites their previous work data, resulting in data loss.

Cons

It's slightly bothersome that to switch from one employee's profile to another, I have to navigate back to the list of employees and search for the next one. It would be convenient if there was a dropdown option or a way to move to the next employee in alphabetical order directly from the current profile.

Xima Software's Eddy experience
Pros

Adding someone to Eddy Software is a breeze! We also appreciate the flexibility to configure different levels of PTO/Sick Time. Additionally, adjusting missed or incorrect time punches is relatively easy.

Cons

While adjusting someone's punches is easy, it can only be done after the employee clocks out, which can be a bit cumbersome. Additionally, in my previous system, I could adjust 401K contributions or enter benefits elections directly. Now, I have to email my EddyHR representative to handle those tasks. She's fantastic and always willing to assist, but it adds extra steps that I wish I could avoid.

Effective Employee Management
Pros

One of my favorite features is the onboarding process for new employees. I appreciate being able to send an invitation with a welcoming message and all the necessary paperwork. Our new hires have mentioned how easy it is to complete their paperwork at their own convenience. I also like being able to track the progress of each new hire during the onboarding experience.

Cons

One aspect that could be improved in the software is the search function within the employee database. When I need to look up multiple employee profiles for information, I have to return to the 'People' tab and scroll back to the top of the list to search again.

Pros

I really enjoy accessing the employee profiles! It's fantastic to have this data available and presented in such an easily understandable manner.

Cons

I would appreciate more comprehensive reporting capabilities. It would also be great to have a way to reward employees through the portal. Additionally, I've encountered some challenges with payroll exposure and accessing pay stubs. Setting up out-of-state tax requirements has been a bit cumbersome as well.

Pros

EddyHR has been incredibly user-friendly for recruitment and employee management, as well as time and PTO tracking, and document retention. Considering the price, we couldn't have asked for a better HR platform to start with for our small company.

Cons

While EddyHR is an excellent platform, I do wish it offered a few more features. The current features are sufficient for now, but they require additional manual work since I can't customize them to perfectly align with my company's specific needs. I hope to see more robust customization options in the future. However, considering the price, I can't complain! I use this system every day, and it performs its job well.

The hiring features within Eddy are self-explanatory and user-friendly. I can quickly review candidates who have applied or are in the middle of the hiring process. It has streamlined communication with my HR manager, as we can both access and check on things at our convenience. Additionally, the time-off feature is straightforward, allowing me to track my employees' absences and vacation time. Employee profiles have made it easy for me to monitor performance reviews, salary increases, and more.

Pros

EddyHR is user-friendly, uncluttered, and possesses the essential features we required, such as time tracking, time off management, and document storage. The employee portal is straightforward and easy to navigate.

Cons

Since the software is still relatively new, there are a few features that haven't been implemented yet, such as the ability to have multiple vacation policies. However, I'm not concerned because I know that more updates are on the way, and I already love what I see.
