Great education platform
Pros

The convenience of having everything accessible on a single website and dashboard makes this software straightforward and simple to grasp.

Cons

Initially, I struggled with the learning curve, but after spending some time exploring it, it became second nature to me. Just be sure to guide employees through their first experience.

Schoox: a training allrounder.
Pros

We have been using Schoox for a while now and can say a lot of good things about it so far. The thing we have loved the most about Schoox, despite its plenty of cool features and capabilities like tracking and reporting, is its complexity and capacity to expand along with our business. It can be made as small or large as we like. Additionally, it interacts with HotSchedules, which for us was a major factor that had us sold from the get go. We have heard others complain about their customer service, but for us, they have always pulled through.

Cons

When we first started using this system, it lacked the business functionality we needed, like the ability to merge users, mark courses as completed, and import users on a regular basis. But as we went along, they sorted out these issues. Its fantastic that they have solved them and that they keep adding new features. Additionally, this software should have a polling or survey feature. It is at best simplistic, and it would be nice if it offered a free-text or open response option. Finding the right courses can be a little difficult at times. I wish updating some of our SCORM/interactive material was simpler.

Managers can launch fresh new courses using a drag-and-drop dashboard.
Pros

There are several aspects of the Schoox system that I have come to really enjoy. The user interface is very functional and simple. Our users like the fact that it is a simple system to use. The majority of activities are rather easy to do. It is also simple to revise content! You can successfully set up the system as long as you have a clear idea of your organizations hierarchy and content arrangement. With this software, you can also easily get insights into the skill sets of your staff. It offers recommendations for thorough, specialized learning, which we really love.

Cons

Support is really our worst enemy with this one. I was told that a previous coworker had added me to our company beforehand, but I continue to get error messages when trying to access my account. Ive been unable to use the system for some time now, and none of my support channels have been able to offer me any urgent assistance. Being unable to access the system is obviously a huge concern for me, as the organizations training manager and a super admin in the system. Despite having a decent user interface, administrative duties are at best inconsistent. I dislike having to rely on the Schoox staff to make repairs.

It offers cutting-edge technology that enables you to create a seamless experience.
Pros

Schoox is a training technology that changes the game entirely. Anyone working in the food and beverage, hotel, or family entertainment industry is missing out on a lot without this software in their life. I personally love the numerous features and the ongoing addition of new ones. Another thing to love is their customer service, which is just excellent. Whenever I have come across any issues, they have always been on point in getting me the help I needed. They have pretty seamless software that allows us to get everything done exactly how we want it.

Cons

Just a couple of things to note about the cons. I was given the duty of starting up the training program when we made the decision to formalize it. I had trouble using Schoox because I am by no means a learning and development manager. We experimented with TalentLMS, which I found to be a bit harder than Schoox, but much easier for beginners. However, in the end, we ultimately decided to go with Schoox since we knew we would eventually need to recruit an L&D Manager who would be more adept at using it than I was, which we did.

Pros

The dashboard's functionality keeps improving, and the learning tracking efficiently manages completed courses. The ability to download documents is also a valuable feature.

Cons

Pros

Schoox is a game-changer for training purposes. Its seamless integration with Aloha and HotSchedules makes it a must-have for those in the F&B, hospitality, or family entertainment industries. The abundance of features, along with regular updates, makes it intuitive for end-users. As an administrator, I find the system relatively easy to master, and the customer support is exceptional whenever I encounter any issues.

Pros

The fact that it is easy to learn and allowed me to access training materials at home or on the go greatly expedited my training at my new job. I was able to learn a lot more through this user-friendly site.

Great software but not for the novice.
Pros

Schoox is packed with features and functions, including tracking, reporting, and its ability to scale with our company's growth. We can customize it to fit our needs, and the integration with HotSchedules was a major selling point for us.

Cons

When we decided to establish our training program, I was assigned the task of setting it up initially. I'm not a Learning and Development Manager, so I had difficulty figuring out how to use Schoox. We had experimented with Talent LMS, which I found to be much simpler for beginners, although not as customizable as Schoox. Eventually, we chose Schoox because we realized we would eventually hire an L&D Manager who would be more proficient in using it than me, which we did. Now everything is going well, but be aware that this software is unlikely to be easily learned by a novice.

Future Potential, But Painful Present
Pros

The user interface is highly intuitive, and our users love how effortlessly they can navigate through the system. Most tasks are simple to complete, and re-versioning content is a breeze. With a clear vision for our organization's hierarchy and content layout, setting up the system effectively is achievable.

Cons

The support is extremely poor! We've had terrible experiences with notifications, and recently I even received a notification that I had been terminated from our academy. Another notification claimed that a former employee had added me to our academy, yet I still receive error messages when I try to access it. I haven't been able to access the system and haven't received immediate assistance from any of my support channels. Needless to say, as a super admin and the Training Manager of the organization, not being able to access the system is a MAJOR problem. While the user interface is pleasant, administrative tasks are inconsistent at best. I dislike having to rely on the Schoox team to fix and adjust things on the backend. Frankly, I am concerned about the integrity of the system, and I am not comfortable with other entities having 'back door' access to our system.

Really Poor Support, Functionality is lacking
Pros

I can easily log in and use the program. Many files from the company I work with are available for viewing and watching.

Cons

They provide no support and deflect it back to the company level, without adding any value. They ignore errors on the website. Many times, when I complete a course, I don't receive credit. They can't explain how the leaderboard works, and when I prove errors in the listing, they blame others. They haven't responded to several emails regarding website issues. They are truly a poorly managed company with inadequate support and even worse leadership.

Schoox is your one stop shop for a GREAT LMS!
Pros

Having limited experience with an LMS program and content development in my previous company, I can now see the abundance of features it offers after witnessing its utilization in another company.

Cons

With any new software, I was confident that it could offer more than what I initially knew. Therefore, it was frustrating not to be aware of all the 'higher level' offerings right from the start. So it wasn't exactly a dislike towards the program, but more of a "I wish I could have been better informed about it initially" to make better use of it.

Schoox
Pros

Setting up and navigating the software is easy for both administrators and users. The administrative tools allow for creativity in customizing the setup, and the ability to share training within the Schoox community is a significant advantage.

Cons

When integrated with another system, many of the built-in functionalities of the system are lost. It also creates confusion with certain setup elements, such as the admin setup for the organizational structure. Additionally, you need to ensure that your courses include all relevant content since the search functionality is not optimal. Ensuring that everything is in one place will resolve the issue of content not being easily locatable.

Pros

I personally implemented this product for my company, and I absolutely love it. It has all the features I need, from course creation to curriculum development, content management, and exam creation. It caters to both companies new to an LMS and those transitioning from another system.

We switched to Schoox from an old in-house solution and should have done this years ago
Pros

The setup and creation of new user content are incredibly easy. It seamlessly integrates with our intranet and external web applications. It includes all the features we had been waiting for in our in-house solution for years, such as assignments, reporting, and mobile apps. The mobile app is particularly useful for our target audience. Setting up business KPIs took some time, but they are now very useful.

Cons

The cost per user is expensive until you reach the 5000+ user tier, so fortunately, we were able to save a significant amount there.

A fantastic new LMS provider.
Pros

These guys may be new, but they have surpassed our expectations in terms of functionality, compatibility, and meeting all the essential requirements and more. Their software supports all file types, offers an online repository, an impressive mobile app, and a solid foundation of hierarchies.

Cons

The interface can be complex at times, requiring multiple button presses to reach the desired location. However, they have integrated 'walk-me' on most pages to mitigate this.

Pretty meh. There must be a better alternative.
Pros

It offers standard features typical of this type of software. You can easily view assigned tasks and prove completion of required courses. Creating a custom course seems relatively straightforward.

Cons

The tools for building courses could be enhanced. They aren't terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement to make course creation and content recording/creation within the system much easier. I'vealso been quite disappointed with the limited number, quality, and variety of "external" courses available. The "professional" and "business" courses seem like something you would put together in middle school. They lack polish.

Innovative Approach To Training Your Team
Pros

I have a genuine love for this software. It's creative and user-friendly. Managing team training and ensuring compliance can be overwhelming for many businesses. If you've ever struggled with team members not completing required trainings by the end of the year, Schoox is definitely worth considering for your business training needs. Plus, it offers excellent mobile features to keep track of employee training and align your team's efforts.

Cons

There aren't many cons to mention. I genuinely enjoy using this software. If your employees aren't tech-savvy or don't have computer access, implementation might pose more challenges. However, this software is primarily designed for professional settings, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Pros

I like the convenience of accessing it through the web or the app. The quizzes provide an enjoyable way to expand knowledge! It's great that as managers, we can check who has completed which courses.

Cons

When using the app on my phone, my only complaint is that often, watching a video or scrolling through a document doesn't register as 100% completion unless I rotate my phone. It might be a minor glitch on my end, but other than that, no complaints!

Perfect LMS for our company.
Pros

It's so straightforward to utilize, and even simpler to set up and begin using. This learning management system is perfect for our company since we can have numerous users, which allows our customers to access various training videos.

Cons

Easy to use, but lots to master
Pros

The interface for end users is sleek and easy to navigate. Among LMS mobile apps, the mobile app of SchooX stands out. Our employees primarily completed their training using the application on their mobile devices. Approximately 85% of our employees adopted the mobile option. One fantastic feature is the ability to set parameters for hourly employees, determining when they can access the system. Since we have a large hourly workforce, it's beneficial to restrict access to learning content during work hours or provide each team member with a designated time for learning. This feature alone has incentivized growth and development while ensuring compliance with labor laws. The finance department also appreciated it for budgeting purposes. The out-of-the-box reporting is simple and basic, but there's a built-in connection to Google Analytics. We connected it to our Google Analytics account and aggregated the data into our business intelligence tools for advanced reporting. Administration is straightforward, yet it offers a plethora of features that can be creatively utilized. We successfully ran our company-wide mentoring program through the system. It also integrates with several HRIS systems, keeping our team members up to date. I would highly recommend it and use it again. Additionally, it has an excellent content store where "filler" content can be easily purchased and downloaded.

Cons

Getting accustomed to the organizational setup takes some time, but once you're familiar with it, it's not overly complicated. Disabling the search bar feature might as well be done since finding specific content is like asking a magic eight ball for guidance. With the right structure of learning content and smart tagging conventions, you won't even need the search feature. For example, bundling content into courses and courses into curriculum, onboarding, or career development. Our motto became "no content left behind." If it's not in a course, it's not in our system.

Pros

Awesome LMS, optimized for the restaurant industry
Pros

SchooX stands out as one of the first systems to employ a drag-and-pull feature, making it effortless to transfer content from your desktop and create courses. It also provides a system to measure KPIs, showcasing the effectiveness of your training. Similar to other systems, it offers internal quiz creation, a social media component, and a reward system, making it highly appealing to millennials and Gen Z. I would highly recommend it.

Cons

schoox is an awesome LMS
Pros

I have used SchooX in its early stages, approximately six years ago. One of the great advantages of SchooX is its scalability, which seamlessly aligns with the growth of your organization. Moreover, their staff is open to incorporating changes and suggestions from clients. During my interaction with them, I proposed implementing deeper tracking capabilities, allowing the system to track individual stores and employees rather than just regionsand departments. They were receptive to the idea and worked on incorporating it into their system. This level of responsiveness and willingness to enhance their platform is commendable.

Cons

Some of their services, like the KPI platform, are still in the beta phase, and although they offer such features, they don't always deliver on their promises. It would be better if they thoroughly test these features before offering them to customers.

Pros

SchooX is relatively new compared to many other systems out there. In fact, many of its LMS manufacturing practices stem from partnerships with third-party providers. This grants it a high level of innovation but, at the same time, may result in various alpha and beta testing scenarios.

Pros

I've had the opportunity to use SchooX while working at Subway, and I believe it's one of the best systems available. The unique aspect is that you get to work directly with the founders when implementing new concepts. Being cloud-based, it doesn't require much storage space, and it offers unlimited storage capacity. For organizations lacking content, SchooX collaborates with several partners who can design content or assist in building your own. It's truly a remarkable platform.

Pros

The system employs a drag-and-pull mechanism, eliminating the need for an LMS admin, which is a significant advantage. They also provide access to third-party contributors for content creation. However, most of the available content caters to the hospitality industry, so unless you're developing your own content or have an alternative provider, you may face some challenges in that regard. SchooX offers a wide range of usability, including social media elements, virtual classrooms, and gamification. Overall, it's a commendable system.

We use Schoox for training videos and a library of training documents.
Pros

The customer support provided by SchooX is top-notch. Whenever we encountered any issues or had questions, their team was responsive and helpful in resolving them promptly. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is evident, and it adds to the overall positive experience of using the platform.

Cons

The cost! It was already somewhat expensive, but we loved the features and couldn't find anything else as good, so we decided to go for it. However, they recently raised the prices significantly. As a result, we're considering discontinuing our use. Additionally, while the site has many features, the navigation is not very intuitive, and you end up searching for things for quite some time when you need to perform specific actions.

RSH and SchooX
Pros

One of the standout features of SchooX is its social learning aspect. The platform includes built-in discussion forums, where learners can interact, ask questions, and share knowledge. This fosters a collaborative learning environment and encourages engagement among employees. The ability to connect and learn from others within the organization enhances the overall learning experience.

Cons

The quiz program is a nice way to assess basic conceptual understanding. I would love to see a secure proctoring solution that allows for more complex question types beyond multiple-choice and true/false.

Schoox is a terrific quick-start LMS
Pros

SchooX regularly updates its platform and introduces new features based on user feedback and evolving industry trends. This commitment to continuous improvement ensures that the platform remains up-to-date, technologically advanced, and aligned with the changing needs of organizations. Users can expect regular enhancements and new functionalities that enhance the overall learning experience.

Cons

There are very few flaws or complaints. Honestly, the only concern is that Schoox is still a relatively new product, so they are continuously introducing new features. This doesn't hinder its use, though. Some features you might find in more established products are still under development.

Great way to keep the staff's knowledge updated!
Pros

SchooX integrates well with other systems and tools, such as HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and scheduling software. This integration streamlines the learning and development process by automating tasks, syncing data, and ensuring a seamless flow of information between different platforms. The ability to connect SchooX with existing systems enhances efficiency and reduces administrative overhead.

Cons

It's difficult to come up with cons, but if I had to mention one, it would be the need for a couple more reports. Nevertheless, they provide a comprehensive API for developing your own reports, so it's not a big deal.

We get to say "Yes, we can do that!"
Pros

SchooX offers a wide variety of training materials and resources, making it easy to find relevant content for different industries and topics. The content library is extensive, and you can also import your own content or create custom courses tailored to your organization's specific needs. This flexibility in content creation and management is a significant advantage of using SchooX.

Cons

Initially, when we adopted the system, it lacked some enterprise features we needed, such as marking courses complete, merging users, and daily user imports. They have addressed these issues and continue to introduce new features, which is positive.

Easy to get going, great end user experience.
Pros

SchooX offers a gamification feature that adds an element of fun and competition to the learning experience. Learners can earn points, badges, and rewards for completing courses and achieving milestones. This gamified approach motivates employees to actively participate in training, enhances their engagement, and boosts overall knowledge retention.

Cons

I'm looking forward to the integration of Azure AD SSO with the mobile app.

Enhances Communication Through Interactive Technology
Pros

SchooX provides robust reporting and analytics capabilities, allowing administrators to track learners' progress, completion rates, and performance. The analytics dashboard provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of training initiatives and helps identify areas for improvement. This data-driven approach to learning and development is essential for optimizing training outcomes and driving continuous improvement.

Cons

Sometimes, keeping track of 'My Schoox' in comparison to my company's academy can be confusing. However, I'm confident that as I utilize the online training provided on how to use Schoox, it will become easier to navigate.

Just what we needed.
Pros

The mobile app of SchooX is highly functional and user-friendly. It allows learners to access training materials and complete courses on-the-go, which is particularly beneficial for remote or mobile workforce. The app's intuitive interface and seamless synchronization with the web platform make learning convenient and accessible from anywhere, at any time.

Cons

I wish there was a simpler way to update some of our SCORM/interactive media. Other than that, everything is great.

it was ok as far as software goes
Pros

The pricing of SchooX is competitive and offers good value for money. The platform provides various pricing plans to accommodate organizations of different sizes and needs. Additionally, they offer a free version with limited features, allowing users to explore the platform and determine if it fits their requirements before committing to a paid plan.

Cons

It's a quick and efficient way to provide coursework for our users and track their accomplishments.
