My Experience with ShareKnowledge
Pros

In my previous job we used ShareKnowledge for training management. It might offer more features than my experience suggests as limitations I encountered could be due to our administrators settings. It got the job done but I expected greater flexibility from an LMS.

Cons

The way we used it lacked several functionalities I desired.

ShareKnowledge allows assigning Observers to manage specific user groups as if they were administrators without giving them full access to the site.

Cons

Time is displayed only in Central time zone and changing it to users time zones may not be straightforward.

Unfortunately the benefits end there. Shareknowledge as an LMS is poorly designed. Many standard processes are needlessly complex. Tasks like adjusting due dates require creating new assignments unlike in other systems.

The system effectively delivers ELearning materials and offers useful reminder features for training attendance and signup. It allows for the establishment of compliance rules for training.

Cons

There is a significant amount of clicking involved in completing tasks and generating reports can be challenging. It would be beneficial if trainers could log in and oversee their trainees training progress collectively through a trainers portal rather than signing in each employee individually for training. Additionally the process of assigning new employees to various organizational units is timeconsuming and a more efficient multiassignment option would be valuable.
