The only thing I like about this software is the fact that it helped me setting e-prescription.

Cons

For solo telepsychiatry, Luminello lacks lab integration, and additional billing fees are unreasonably high. Moreover, over 30% of claims submitted through APEX/Luminello are rejected, and there is a lack of support and guidance.

I don't recommend it for groups, it might be better for solo practitioners.

Cons

I can describe billing with Luminello as chaotic, compounded by poor customer service. The billing process involves two different clearinghouses, leading to confusion and missing ERAs for over 10 weeks. Also some billing setup errors were incorrectly attributed to the user despite being caused by Luminello's mismanagement.

I like the fact that it is affordable and also that the prescribing software is also very helpful.

I had some issues with Luminello while generating new windows between patient charts, disrupting workflow.

The team members I've interacted with were all highly knowledgeable and responsive, promptly addressing most of my queries. Moreover, the presence of instructional videos, how-to guides, and onboarding assistance facilitates navigation through the system. The comprehensive getting started checklist further underscores its depth, prompting me to write this glowing review. I reserve reviews for either exceptionally bad or exceptionally good experiences, and Luminello definitely falls into the latter category.

Setting it up felt relatively easier, though I'd suggest incorporating more pre-made templates specifically for psychiatry.

As i previously mentioned, more psychiatry templates are needed and note template creation should be made easier.

Its satisfactory overall but I would suggest integrating a feature for Spravato REMS compliance and specific templates for Spravato and Ketamine Therapy.

The availability during weekends, swift responses via email or chat, and the option for a 10-minute Zoom call for assistance are remarkable. And the program itself is simple, user-friendly, and beneficial for both staff and patients, all at a significantly lower price compared to my previous service.

I am really happy with the functionality it provides, its right according to the value. Scheduling functions is also easy and flawless with it.

It securely stores records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and generating invoices is really easy. Moreover, the invoices we have generated thus far have been accepted by insurance companies without any issues.

The standard templates provided are not well-suited and seem to be more geared towards child psychiatry. However, we have the option to paste free text notes from Word or other software to simplify the writing process. And the support team is willing to generate personalized templates upon request. Although setting up with Bluefin was a prolonged process, the staff remained courteous throughout.

I really like the smooth flow and user-friendly interface of Luminello. It encompasses all the features crucial for my practice, such as e-prescribing, note charting, scheduling, billing, and intake forms, all of which are easy and effective to use.

Setting up self-scheduling for clients has been challenging for me. I am unable to program specific responses or information in the appointment reminder or confirmation messages. And clients who self-schedule don't receive the link for virtual appointments automatically, requiring separate communication.
