My entire experience with the Workpal team has been fantastic from the start. They provided detailed demos and explanations and the implementation process was quite impressive too. They worked closely with us to customize the system according to our needs. Transitioning a team of over 20 engineers to the new app was a huge challenge but the Workpal team supported us throughout the entire process. The level of control and functionality offered by the app is incredibly useful and the real time updates it provides to our office team and clients are invaluable. I am truly impressed by this system.

The job tracking and scheduling as well as quotation process are seamless and effective.

I prefer to have a feature that allows scheduling multiple dates for a single job, spanning different time periods.

Once you familiarize yourself with the software it becomes easy. Organizing our engineers schedules is quick and simple.

Cons

There are times when the mobile phone access on WorkPal isn't as optimal as the desktop version. Our engineers sometimes struggle with it due to job loading issues.

It is convenient that everything is easily accessible and can be found without a problem. The staff is very helpful and the system can be customized to suit our business needs.

Cons

It can be hard to work on the software when internet access is unavailable especially when working on site. Additionally our current accounting software package doesn't integrate well with Workpal unless you have the most expensive package designed for corporate companies. It would be beneficial to consider the needs of smaller customers including self employed individuals who may use the software more frequently.

The ability to log jobs for our staff members is a great feature provided by the software.

I would like to mention that there are instances where jobs don't sync to our staffs mobile devices.

Pros

When we were searching for new software, we were looking for the ability to use mobile devices for engineers to complete paperwork and manage job costs in one place were the most important functions for us. Workpal offers these features, allowing us to produce reports efficiently.

I haven't encountered anything that I dislike about it so far.

The training we received was quite basic so we have mostly relied on hands on experience and self learning. Once you become familiar with it surely the platform is excellent.
