Pros

My entire experience with the Workpal team has been fantastic from the start. They provided detailed demos and explanations and the implementation process was quite impressive too. They worked closely with us to customize the system according to our needs. Transitioning a team of over 20 engineers to the new app was a huge challenge but the Workpal team supported us throughout the entire process. The level of control and functionality offered by the app is incredibly useful and the real time updates it provides to our office team and clients are invaluable. I am truly impressed by this system.

Cons

Implementing Workpal has had a huge positive impact on our business. and it is honestly not possible to find any cons.

Cons

There are times when the mobile phone access on WorkPal isn't as optimal as the desktop version. Our engineers sometimes struggle with it due to job loading issues.

Pros

It is convenient that everything is easily accessible and can be found without a problem. The staff is very helpful and the system can be customized to suit our business needs.

Cons

It can be hard to work on the software when internet access is unavailable especially when working on site. Additionally our current accounting software package doesn't integrate well with Workpal unless you have the most expensive package designed for corporate companies. It would be beneficial to consider the needs of smaller customers including self employed individuals who may use the software more frequently.

Pros

I found the setup process and cost very much excellent. also the team was very friendly. Workpal offers so many features and can be tailored to meet your specific needs. The interface is also user friendly and simple.

Cons

It would be helpful if the scheduling view provided a clearer representation allowing me to block out peoples days with a more detailed view of all their assigned jobs.

Great Product Thats Changed The Way We Work For The Better

Workpals onboarding process was simple, allowing us to set up the platform according to our requirements. We could also make specific changes as we gained more understanding of the system. Managing a large volume of clients across multiple sites and tracking historical installations, upcoming jobs, and service requirements is effortless with Workpal. Customers appreciate the auto-generated job sheets upon completion, providing them with all the necessary details promptly. Creating and allocating jobs while efficiently managing our workforce based on location saves time and money.

Cons

It would be great to have a stock management feature integrated into WorkPal, eliminating the need for a separate platform. Additionally a "subcontractor" license option that allows payment per job would be beneficial.

Pros

From an administrators perspective, learning to use this software was very much easy. The ability to track jobs in real time from start to finish is a major advantage. Operatives can upload notes, pictures and collect customer signatures.

Cons

We had to find workarounds for some of the softwares limitations. For example we hoped for an automatic generation of a specific report but we still have to compile it manually. furthermore adding additional customized forms and reports can be quite costly.

Pros

I was impressed by how adaptable the product is to meet the unique needs of each business. The setup process was quick and training was provided. However, the system is user friendly so we were up and running within a couple of weeks. The customer service was excellent with friendly staff who provided great solutions. I particularly like the map feature which allows us to check for nearby jobs.

Cons

There were a few things we wanted to change to better suit our needs. but the good thing is that the knowledgeable staff who are well versed in the system were able to provide us with solutions. So for now there are no cons!

Pros

The convenience of this software significantly improves everyones lives. Having RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) on site gives us peace of mind knowing that surprise audits will always be covered. The automatic invoicing and real time updates provide excellent service to our clients which has been acknowledged by new clients who inquired about the software.

Cons

Personally I have encountered some minor issues that could probably be resolved if I knew how. However the team is always in contact providing updates and training support.

Cons

The system lacks the ability to generate order numbers. When adding parts and specifying the quantity in stock, the system doesn't automatically decrease the count when booking out parts. As a result another system is needed to track stock numbers and determine when to reorder.

Workpal is quite flexible, tailoring their software to meet your specific needs. They can customize and simplify Workpal based on your requirements. Their form controls are excellent, and their developers are highly accommodating and innovative in configuring the system to suit your needs.

Cons

We weren't able to have a trial run with the software before setting up everything. If potential users could have a trial period with basic forms I believe it would make implementation much easier and give clients a better understanding of what to expect.

The software has great features and the ease of reporting was a major selling point. However some key items that we emphasized needed to be included on the jobs page turned out to be impossible. Overall the software is pleasant to use but there are several areas that lack backend integration, resulting in duplicated information and confusion. Additionally, the sync feature doesn't always function properly.

Cons

We faced major challenges in getting the deployment team to understand our needs. also when it comes to problem reporting, the responsibility lies with the customer to prove that the application is not functioning properly.

The ability to log and schedule work easily is key to our operations and Workpal enables us to do that and more. Its user friendly nature is particularly important for employees who may not be as confident with IT equipment.

Cons

Overall there is very little that needs improvement. Our employees seem to use it without major issues, and any minor problems can be resolved internally.
